ICNG Seminar Series
The Integrative Center for Neurobehavioral Genetics (ICNG) Seminar Series aims to cover a diverse array of topics relevant to neurogenetics through presentations of unpublished results by our Training Program’s mentors and research talks by speakers outside of UCLA. Topics range from the genetic architecture of autism to microglial activity in neurodegenerative disorders to diet-microbiome interactions.
The series is hosted biweekly throughout the academic year and co-sponsored by the Brain Research Institute (BRI) and the Semel Institute for Neurobehavioral Genetics at UCLA. Seminars are typically scheduled on a Thursday, 12 pm – 1 pm.
In the Winter Quarter, we offer the NS215 Course “Current Research Topics in Neurobehavioral Genetics” to allow Neuroscience graduate students, predoctoral trainees, and postdoctoral trainees the opportunity to delve more deeply into the work of each speaker.
